The »Ballade« model is an archtop built of solid wood with plain decoration. The spruce top and the maple back are hand carved. Hence results the lively and powerful sound, just alike the higher priced »Standard« model.
The »Ballade« is supplied with a simple but tasteful tailpiece, the hardware is nickel-plated, the pickguard is of perloid-plastic.. Mundell Lowe, Bruce Forman and Helmut Nieberle each own such a guitar.
